Terms of Use

1. What the service provides

My Albums is an application inside Telegram for storing encrypted photos and videos, creating albums, tagging people and searching on your device. Photos and videos are kept in their original quality without compression: photos up to 60 MB and videos up to 300 MB per file, on any plan. After a week of use the app suggests who is in new photos; faces are recognised on your device and you place every tag yourself.

There is no separate app outside Telegram and no shared albums yet. Mention of possible future features is not a promise to release them and not part of a paid plan.

2. Free year and plans

• First year: 12 months free from your first login, no card and no payment.
• Basic: 50 Telegram Stars per 30 days (about $1), 20 GB, photos and videos.
• Plus: 150 Telegram Stars per 30 days (about $3), 100 GB, photos and videos.
• Max: 750 Telegram Stars per 30 days (about $15), 500 GB, photos and videos. Larger volumes by arrangement via @Azike.

Prices are set in Telegram Stars; the dollar amount is indicative and depends on the price of Stars that Telegram sets for your country. Used space, your plan and the end date of the period are shown in the bot with /plan.

When the free year ends nothing is charged until you subscribe yourself. If the period ends and is not renewed, no debt arises: uploading new files is paused, while viewing and downloading what you already uploaded keep working. Files are never deleted for non-payment — your storage remains yours, and uploads reopen as soon as you renew.

3. Payment, renewal, cancellation and refunds

Payment is made inside Telegram with Telegram Stars via /plan in the bot or the “Buy a subscription” button in the app. The subscription renews automatically every 30 days until you cancel it; you can cancel at any time in Telegram settings under Stars — the period already paid remains. Stars are purchased from Telegram (including through the App Store and Google Play) under Telegram’s terms. We never receive or request card details.

We do not accept payment by transfer to a card or account requested in a chat: the only way to pay is the payment button in @MyAlbumsBot. Confirmation of payment comes from the bot. When you switch plans, the previous subscription is cancelled so that you are not charged twice. Payment does not give the service the key to your files.

To stop future charges, cancel the subscription in Telegram. For a mistaken or duplicate payment, a plan that was not activated, or a serious problem with a paid service, write to @Azike with the payment details (no secret data). Refunds are made in Stars to your Telegram balance and are considered with regard to the service actually provided and your mandatory consumer rights; these terms do not exclude refunds. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may withdraw from a paid period within 14 days of the payment, unless you have already used the paid service in that period.

A new price applies to future renewals after notice, not retroactively to a period already agreed.

4. Keys, passwords and recovery

AES-256-GCM encryption runs on your device. The key is created on the device and stored in your Telegram account, not on the My Albums server. On first login, save the 52-character recovery code separately from your phone.

Losing both the key and the code means the photos cannot be decrypted. Support does not restore keys and does not bypass encryption. A secret album requires its own password, which also cannot be recovered if lost.

When changing phones, use the same Telegram account. Recovery of the account itself is done through Telegram. The My Albums code does not replace access to Telegram and does not guarantee transfer of storage to another account.

5. Your files and responsibilities

You keep all rights to your files. You allow the service to technically store and transfer their encrypted copies to the extent needed to provide the service. The service receives no right to publish your photos, use them in advertising or hand them over for model training.

Upload only files you are entitled to store. Do not use the service for unlawful material, infringement of others’ rights, distribution of malicious code or interference with the infrastructure. In case of a substantiated violation, access may be restricted to the necessary extent; where possible we will state the reason and how to appeal.

Check that an upload has completed and the original opens before deleting a copy from your phone. Keep a separate backup of especially important files. Do not give others access to your device, Telegram, recovery code or passwords.

6. Deletion and termination

You can download originals and delete individual files in the app. To delete all files and account data, open the Albums tab and tap “Delete all my data” (with confirmation), or write to @Azike from the same Telegram account. Deleting the chat with the bot is not such a request.

After final deletion data cannot be recovered; download what you need first. If the service is ever discontinued, we will announce it in advance and state the period available for downloading; perpetual availability of the service is not guaranteed.

7. Availability and liability

Operation depends on the internet, your device, Telegram and the storage infrastructure. Maintenance and outages are possible. We take reasonable measures to keep the service running but do not promise uninterrupted availability or absolute protection in all circumstances.

The absence of a key on our side protects the content of the server storage but does not remove the risks of an infected device, tampered client code, a compromised account or the user’s own actions. Encryption is not a backup and does not by itself prevent deletion of files.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is not liable for consequences of the user losing keys, irreversible deletion at the user’s request, or failures of independent platforms outside our reasonable control. These limitations do not exclude liability that the law does not allow to be excluded and do not override mandatory consumer rights.

8. Changes, contact and governing law

The current version of these terms is available on this page. Material changes to payment or access are announced before they apply and do not change the agreed terms of a period already paid without a legal basis or a separate agreement.

Questions, complaints and suggestions go to @Azike. State your Telegram account, the subject and, if needed, payment details. Never send keys, the recovery code, your Telegram password or bank codes. If a matter is not resolved, you keep the right to seek protection in the manner established by law.

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan; mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence continue to apply.
